GOSSAMER is optimized for retro synth sounds, but can add sparkle, movement and vibe to almost any source, especially synthesizer pads, acoustic guitar and vocals.
Features include:
- A lush chorus/ensemble effect, modeled on classic string synths of the 1970s. One dial smoothly crossfades through nine different chorus models, capable of expansive, warm vintage sounds.
- A playful and warm vintage phaser, inspired by a rare opto hardware unit famously used in many classic European electronic records of the 1970s.
- A unique formant filter, updated from fixed-filter retro designs to provide an expanded range of interesting "vocal" sounds.
- A (frankly, pretty odd) reverb with a massive "sparkle" granular shimmer module. You already have enough normal reverbs. We made this one really weird on purpose. It sounds amazing on big synths.
- A comprehensive set of presets.
- A simple but powerful operating model: every plugin control is always visible on the plugin surface, and control ranges have been meticulously optimized for ease of use, and extreme, creative yet usable sounds.

GOSSAMER is a set of audio fx processors inspired by classic records of the 1970s, but with some modern touches. It's a mix of circuit modeled and brand new effects designed to work together to beautify sounds.
The vintage ensemble chorus adds amazing character to keyboards, vocals and acoustic guitar, ranging from the delicate, wispy sounds of classic retro European electronica, to dense, dramatic and unique modulation effects.
The integrated reverb, optimized for synthesizer and pad sounds, contains a granular octave engine and is capable of rich, epic spaces, from "radioactive bathroom" to "alien cathedral".
A stunning circuit-modelled phaser instantly adds retro vibe and movement to any source. Unlike most software phasers with screens full of options, we've tuned this to sound great on everything with a minimum number of controls to distract you during the creative process - pick a speed, and turn the 'mix' control until you get the sound you want. Depth and width controls, plus a "crunchy" mode, are available for tweaks.
A unique formant engine, inspired by the circuits on some retro synths, and a flanger fill out the sound-sculpting capabilities.
A huge set of presets showcases the range of sounds available, from complete audio transformation, to simple models of classic individual hardware units.
